This is a variety of air plant called Tillandsia albertiana native to Argentina, where it can be found on cliffs. The species grows slender and produces short leathery leaves.
Tillandsia Lepidosepala is a very rare epiphyte species, native to Mexico, where it grows and develops generally on stones, although it can also be found on the bark of large trees.
Its natural habitat is at latitudes ranging from 2000 to 2500 metres above sea level.
