Brachycaulos multiflora Tillandsia
This tillandsia air plant called multiflora brachycaulos is native to Central America especially in Guatemala and southern México.
This species, like many others of the genus, has the peculiarity that before flowering it changes the grey colour of its leaves to a greyish red. This red colour disappears after flowering and new shoots start to grow from the base of the plant.
Although it can withstand full sun, especially during the hours of maximum sunshine in summer and in very hot climates, it can get burnt and dehydrated, so it is preferable to keep it in partial shade. In winter it needs as much light as possible.
Support/bark not included.
