This tillandsia air plant or called multiflora brachycaulos is native to Central America especially in Guatemala and southern Mexico. Living at an altitude between 500 and 1000 m. Their average size is about 15 centimeters.
Like many other species of the genus, it has the peculiarity that before flowering changes the color of their leaves from gray to grayish red. This red color disappears after flowering then beginning to take new shoots from the base of the plant. While supporting the full sun especially in the most sunshine hours in summer and very hot climates it can burn and dehydration so it is preferable to have it in partial shade. In winter if it possible requires more light.
