A specimen with markedly ribbed leaves covered with a large number of thick trichomes that give it a silvery, velvety appearance.

In its inflorescence it produces a central spike that changes from green to red tones, giving way to its beautiful tubular flowers of a very intense red colour.

It requires a dry and well ventilated environment, as well as a bright but indirect light source, generally near a window indoors or in semi-shaded places if outdoors.
