Tillandsia Filifolia is an epiphytic species, native to the forests of Mexico and Costa Rica, where it grows at latitudes ranging from 200 to 2000 metres above sea level.
The leaves of this magnificent specimen are thin and very numerous, growing in all directions to create a very elegant, almost spherical shape.
In its central part, it generates a long flowering stem, sometimes reaching 30 cm in height, from which multiple bracts emerge that produce a generous quantity of tiny but beautiful flowers in shades of purple and mauve.
It requires moderate sun exposure, preferring shady places with low humidity and medium ventilation.
It does not require a very exhaustive maintenance, being a perfect specimen for interiors, which fits wonderfully in compositions with bark, terrarium, etc...
Support/bark not included.
