Tillandsia Velickiana, formerly known as Oaxacana, is an epiphytic species native to the State of Oaxaca in Mexico, where it grows and develops in oak and conifer forests, generally at latitudes of 200 metres above sea level.
This majestic specimen of silvery leaves with velvety touch, produces a very striking foliage creating a beautiful contrast with its central floral rosette, which intensifies its colour during the flowering process, starting in soft pink tones at the beginning of the flowering, ending in a very intense pink.
From its floral bract emerge multiple small, tubular-shaped flowers in purple or lilac tones.
It requires generous sun exposure or very good lighting, as well as moderate humidity and good ventilation.
Support/bark not included.
