This specimen is native to southern American countries such as Brazil, Argentina and Bolivia.
It is a plant with greyish leaves, which develops a beautiful flower of dark red tones that stands out for its elegance.
It needs simple care as, being a grey-leaved plant, it does not need much watering, being sufficient to spray it with water once a week in the coldest months and twice a week in the hottest months.
It prefers a rather generous exposure to the sun, and also needs good ventilation.
In its natural habitat, it grows in forests and on rocks, at latitudes ranging from 700 metres above sea level to 2600 metres.
