Tillandsia Rhomboidea (formerly "Tillandsia Acostae") is an epiphytic species native to Guatemala, Costa Rica and Panama, where it grows and develops at latitudes ranging from 100 to 1500 metres above sea level.
It is very similar in shape to Tillandsia Concolor but larger in size.
Its leaves change from green to reddish tones depending on the sun exposure it receives and it develops an inflorescence with a large central spike of striking orange and yellow colours, in addition to its beautiful purple tubular flowers.
It likes shady areas with medium-high humidity levels, but with light and good ventilation, as well as spraying every two to three days, depending on the weather.
Support/bark not included.
