Tillandsia native of Honduras
This specimen lives at altitudes of up to 2000 metres above sea level, on rocks and cliffs.
Its leaves are hard and strong, silver in colour due to its trichomes and it grows very fast, sometimes reaching 30cm in height.
It produces a very dense flower spike, which sometimes increases the size of the plant by 15cm, creating 4 to 5 tubular purple flowers, so typical of Tillandsias.
It needs very good ventilation and moderate humidity, preferably in dry climates, as well as good light. It is advisable to let it dry in the sun after watering and to avoid stagnant water between the leaves.
Support/bark not included.
